So about a week ago my room mates and a friend of ours ran into my room excited about an idea of Sugar Rush (from Wreck-it-Ralph) crossed over with the Avengers.

Well I helped run with that idea and drew out all the characters inspired by the Sugar-Rush art style.

Since so many people liked them I’m making them into stickers and Keychains to purchase on my etsy store.

I currently have the stickers available and am working on making keychains so I’ll post again when those are available for anyone interested - but if you’d be interested in these as Stickers - Here you go :)

So…my first externship hours were today. I was pretty fired up and excited to do it. Got in at 10am as requested. Literally sat around for 3 1/2 hours doing absolutely nothing (I did two 10 minute chair massages the whole 4 hours I was there).

The head therapist that was in charge of me, pretty sure he couldn’t care less about me being there. He practically ignored me the entire time. When he asked how much sports massage training I had, I told him just a couple hours to qualify me to work. He got upset and frustrated and made me feel quite bad for not having experience. When I asked him questions or asked for advice/tricks, he either didn’t give me any or gave me super sarcastic responses that didn’t explain anything or made me feel stupid for asking. When people asked me if I was a therapist he would SNAP in very loudly before I could respond that I was a student that HE was the therapist (as if I was about to steal clients from him…)

By the end of the event I asked if he could sign my hours sheet that we’re required to have signed. He told me to bring it to him. Took me 2 minutes to grab it and he was gone. When I finally found him he was too distracted so I had to stand and wait awkwardly. When he finally did sign it he couldn’t care less how many hours I worked (he told me to put whatever I wanted). And then told me the might not ask me back till I had more schooling done.

reminder…this is an externship…it’s here to TEACH ME things I don’t learn in class (and you dont even have to pay me…, I’m unpaid and easily taught HELP)… To say the least by the time I left I was practically in tears out of frustration, defeat and admittedly I was rather pissed off…

I’m really hoping when the assistant manager comes back that things will go smother…since i had really been looking forward to working there
